  • 1. What can I expect during treatment?
    A local or topical anaesthetic is applied to the area to be treated to make the procedure more comfortable.The Doctor will then apply the device to the skin surface releasing the needles and delivering radiofrequency energy in short bursts as the head is moved across the area to be treated. Immediately after treatment the treated area will appear red and slightly inflamed. If uncomfortable, a cool pack, or cold air is applied to the area.
  • 2. How long does the Intracel treatment take?
    The procedure takes about 30 minutes per area.
  • 3. What are the indications for treatment?
    INTRAcel is specifically indicated in tightening and lifting the skin, to treat wrinkles, large pores, stretch marks and telangiectasia in facial rejuvenation. It is also indicated in the treatment of active acne, to improve acne scarring, scarring and the reduction of sebum levels.
  • 4. How often do I need treatments?
    The interval between INTRAcel treatments is approximately 6 weeks. However the interval level is flexible and depends on the treatment levels. It is possible to achieve positive results with only 1 treatment. However 2-3 treatments can be more effective for some, depending on the condition of the patients skin.
